This course is directed towards data scientists with good knowledge of Python and of basic Python data science libraries. It is strongly recommended participants have foundations of data science with Python or have inequivalent knowledge. Machine learning and natural language processing are important methods for data science. Python is commonly used in data science. This course provides an overview of important Python libraries for these data science fields.




Text analysis workshop

Topic Modelling is an information retrieval technique to identify topics in a large corpus of text documents. This tutorial will guide you through the process of analysing your textual data through topic modelling - from finding and cleaning your data, pre-processing using spaCy, applying topic modelling algorithms using gensim - before moving on to more advanced textual analysis techniques.

Currently in Lithuania only C++ and Pascal can be used for solving high school exam tasks. We will try to solve exam tasks using Python and will see if Python could be a good choice for hight school computer programming exams.
